Rainbow bridge

This design is inspired by a tale from Seediq Clan. The tale says all humans have to go through a rainbow bridge after death. If your soul can pass the test, you will go to the other side of the bridge where there are many round face people and countless sweet potatos and millets for you to eat. If your soul fail the test, you will fall down the bridge where there are crabs and frogs that eat people waiting for you.

The print design uses the traditional diamond pattern of Seediq, takes the cultural elements of the ancestral spirit's eyes, combines them in a lively and lovely way, and uses the red and white colors in traditional costumes.

The print design is inspired by the Seediq's legend that was spread by oral.
The story tells that a mother wanted her daughter to clean the sweet potato leaves outside the house, but the girl was lazy and unwilling to help. She hide in the sweet potato leaves and fell asleeps. The mother then burned the sweet potato leaves with a torch knowing nothing about where her daughter was. The daughter was scared and became a pigeon flying out.
