In the early days, people of the agricultural society needed men to work in agriculture, and the values of traditional society. Every family hopes to have a son to carry on their family name. If the new born baby is a boy, it’ll be the most joyous occasion in the family. When the baby is born, we will make red rice cakes and thank God for blessing. We’ll also pray for the baby to grow up well.
There are some areas of Taiwan still retain the traditions of making red rice cakes.

WanTingBan extends from ShinTingBan, and the red, green, and blue colors represent: ShinTingBan, wormwood, Hakka persimmon and blue shirt.
Four patterns of ShinTingBan overlap with Zhixiong to be like the ancient coins.
It symbolizes Hakka products rich heritage and many descendants.

The PoBuZi contains the memories and tastes of life. It's not only the simple taste, but also the laughter of the family gathering. it is an atmosphere of happy eating and drinking that is gradually accumulated from daily interaction.

The Hakka Chungyuan Festival is held in July of the lunar calendar. During the ritual ceremony, the lanterns and the TaShihYeh will be placed in front of the temple. People also put lanterns on the water and serve pigs and goats to Gods and spirits.

In the early traditional society, because of the importance of male, there was the traditions of making red rice cakes (ShinTingBan) for new born baby boy to thank God for blessing. However, culture is advancing with the times. Nowadays, male or female babies are equal.
For gender equality, the design of the pink-red rice cakes as the theme of the baby girl, "TaoLeSsu", is also Zhixiong’s twin sister "Xinzhu".

When arriving Taiwan, they worshiped to the God of Grain when reclamation. After they sellted down, they pray to the God of Birth to seeking its protection to the children. The gray color in the patten is a mataphor of the disappearence of Dragon God belief in modern day.
